The comfort rooms at Hotel Carmin in Le Havre are absolutely amazing! The queen size beds are so comfortable, I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. The rooms are quiet and have all the necessary amenities, including free Wi-Fi and a safe. The sound-insulated walls ensure a peaceful night's sleep, and the complimentary bottled water is a nice touch. Plus, having a private bathroom with a bath or shower is just perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring. As a budget traveler, I couldn't have asked for a better room!
I must admit that I wasn't a fan of the bathroom basket for all the other trash. It's just a personal preference, and I understand that others might find it convenient.

I recently stayed at Hotel Carmin for a short trip. The location was perfect, within easy walking distance to the beach, shopping center, and attractions like Shipowner's Mansion and Art Museum. The room was clean and comfortable, with a newly renovated bathroom. The boss and staff were friendly and helpful, providing great tips for exploring the area. The hotel also offered parking options, although nearby street parking was cheaper. a great value and enjoyable stay.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Liked the location near the beach and the quiet residential area, perfect for a city break. The rooms were spotlessly clean and we loved the helpful staff who provided excellent recommendations on restaurants and activities in the area. the continental breakfast was delicious with fresh pastries and a variety of choices.
Disliked the small room size, which was much smaller than expected and made us feel cramped. the lack of hot water during the day was inconvenient and made it difficult to shower when we wanted to.

Both Thierry and Jean-Pierre treated us and all the other customers that I saw stay in their hotel with warmth and friendliness. They very much treat you as a guest in "their home". The breakfast is lovely with fresh baguette, croissants, cheese and ham as well as a selection of fresh yogourt and fruit. They even offer to make delicious hot chocolate for the non coffee or tea drinkers! Thierry and Jean-Pierre were polite and kind. They insured that any concerns were addressed and helped with suggestions on viewing and visiting in the area after our business meetings. This may not be fancy hotel but the atmosphere is charming!
I found the bed mattress a bit hard and the pillows slightly uncomfortable. Obviously this is a personal preference, but I would stay there again!

Additionally, being situated in a quiet residential area ensured a peaceful night's sleep.
No improvements needed, everything was perfect.

The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff friendly and welcoming. Couldn't really find anything to fault this hotel and would certainly stay there again when travelling to Le Havre.
It would be nice to have had coffee making facilities in the bedroom.

We liked the welcoming atmosphere and personal service. The hotel is quiet yet close to the beach. Room was clean (only the carpet looked worn-out).

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They recommended fantastic restaurants and helped us plan our route around the city. The location was perfect, in a residential area but only a few minutes' walk to the center of the city and the ocean. The breakfast was delicious, and the cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding.
Nothing negative to say.
